The honored guest;
John Clark and his wife
June', were presented
with two swivel Chairs on
behalf of the Colborne
ratepayers.
In presenting this gift,
Reeve Bog e spoke highly
0;of the service John Clark
rendered during hi g term
of employment which
started in 1955. That was
Terence Hunter's term as
Reeve of Colborne which
was f011owed by John
Kernighan, Ralph Jewell,
Wilmer Hardy, Doug
McNeil,, and _ now Wm.
Bogie. For most of the
years Mr. Clark worked
under road superin-
tendent Mel Good.
It was very unfortunate
that shortly after John
Clark became road
superintedent, his health
created a problem and he
found it necessary to take
an early retirement.
John has been very
active with the Huron
County Plowmen's
Association and Clubs
and in this community,
through his work, has'
made many friends and
accfueintances.
Several special guests
were present to offer best
wishes to John Clark.
They included. Harry
