the MacKay Centre
project is among the
better projects ever
encountered. He com-
pared it to Simcoe Centre
which came into being
because five to seven
groups of Senior Citizens
worked together with i`t
common goal. Now these
groups share the Centre,
but each group has its

St. Peters Catholic
Women's League . held
their regular meeting on
Monday, April 7 at 8 p.m.
followed by a very
startling film entitled,
"Bottle Babies".
This film revealed
serious malnutrition
caused by feeding
children improperly
prepared formula milk,
and showed the role of the
bottle for-mula industry,
particularly its
promotional and
marketing . policie's.
Nestle was singled out as
the company with the
largest, sales and most
aggressive promotion.
In May 1979, during the
International Year of the
Child, the National
Executive Council of the
Anglican Church of
Canada passed a series of
resolutions presented' by
the unit on public school
responsibility relating to
the bottle formula
problem. They asked
Nestle to stop promoting
its infant formula in'
developing countries.
