The worship service in
Holmesville United
Church was well attended
last Sunday. Mr.

children about another
apostle until they know
the names of the 12
apostles. The Sunday
after Easter, the minister
spoke about The
Darkness Is Passing
Away. Elmer Potter and
Irvine Tebbutt received
the offering.
Notes
Alvin Betties is now
convinced that 13 is a
lucky number because
Barb _and__Alvin were
playing crib and Barb
dealt the 29 hand. This is
the first in 36 years. His
hand consisted of Jack of
clubs, five of spades, five
of diamonds, five of
hearts, the five of clubs
turned up in the cut.
Terry and Gerry can
vouch that this is correct.
Congratulations Alvin.
