The study findings will also be of assistance to recently formed reoe y Ontario Task Force on Provincial Rail Policy chaired by Mrs. Margaret Scrivener, M.P.P. The Task Force may use the results as part of their overall examination of the railway system in the vine. p3?o e . In the interest of remaining impartial, the CTC will be restricting its involvement in the study to a consultative role, according to CTC Chairman, John T. Gray. The study will include 14 CNR and CP Rail branch lines in the mid- western Ontario -Bruce Area. "Members of the study team will approach rail shippers and government representatives to determine their views of regional rail requirements," said Snow. "At the same time, "we will welcome any com- ments and recom- mendations from all interested citizens, municipalities and in- dustries in the area;" he added.
