was put into operation on
April 1 and to date, about
40 trout have gone up-

and Mrs. Gordon Cock-
field visited with Mrs.
Viola Petrie of Port
Albert.

Toronto for the weekend.
Cheryl Hodges was also
home from London
visiting her parent's for

were saddened by the
news of the death of a
good summer friend,
Mrs. Bill Nevin, last
week.
The nice weekend
weather brought fnany
campers and cottagers
out to Port Albert for
spring clean-up. Watch,

CHURCH NEWS
St. Mark's Anglican
Church, Auburn held a
special service on Good
Friday conducted by the
rector, Reverend William
Craven.
Lorie Cartwright,
Angela Schneider, Lana
Lawrence, Leslie
Lawrence, Melissa Clark,
and Sarah Clark were the
candle -girls. Dennis
Schneider was the
lightbearer. After each
verse of Scripture
relating to the death of
Christ read' by Mr.
Craven, Dennis
Schneider lit each girl's
candle in turn. After all
candles were lit, Dennis
extinguished each candle
and shrouded the Altar.
James Towe read the
Bible lessons.
Easter lilies and
bouquets of' daffodils
adorned the chancel of St.
Mark's Anglican .Church
for the Easter Sunday
service. Easter music
was played by the church
organist, Mrs. Murray
Nesbitt. The Reverend
William Craven,
the
rector, gave an inspiring
Easter message assisted
by the Lay Reader,
James Towe.
Knox United Church
Women- are planning to
present the Dominion
Life Choir of Kitchener in
"An Evening of Music"
on April 15 at 8:30 p.m. in
the church. Don't miss
