Lost dog
Help, I'm lost. This year-old female was found
loose in Goderich Saturday and has since been
living at the Goderich Veterinary Clinic in
Goderich Township. The part collie was picked
up in town and will be at the clinic until Thursday
or Friday of this week. The dog was wearing a

Dungannon resident dies
BENJAMIN OLIVER
CALDWELL
Benjamin Oliver
Caldwell, • formerly of
Dungannon, died of a
heart attack in Munroe,
Michigan on Friday,
April 4 at the age of 67.
He was born in
Dungannon on Dbcember
3, 1912 to George McGill
Caldwell and Rebecca
Charlotte (Smith)
Caldwell. His father had
been born in Toronto and
his mother had been born
in Dungannon. Both
parents predeceased
him.
The late Mr. Caldwell
was retired from his
work.
In 1961 he married
Marjorie
Hobbs
Baynham in Windsor. She
also predeceased him.
He is survived by two
stepchildren, Jack
Baynham of Windsor and
Helen Pettypiece of• La
Salle; three sisters, Miss
Pearl Caldwell and Mrs.
John (Myrtle) Spivak
both of Dungannon and
Mrs. Nelson (Blanche)

for Cancer to be held
April 20? If not, they are
still available at Mac's
Milk, Beckers (South
Street • store), Zehrs,
A&P, Kirkey's Texaco,
Victoria and Grey Trust,
the Credit Union and all
banks in town.
The 22 kilometer bike-
a-thon will commence at
2 p.m. from the Suncoast
Mall parking lot.
Registration begins at
noon.
The Goderich Kinsmen
and Kinettes are in
charge of bike-a-thon
arrangements.

The Rotary Club's first
paper drive of 1980 will
take place this Saturday,
April 12. Have your
newspapers bundled and
ready for pick-up at the
side of the road. All
proceeds froth each
paper drive go back into
the community through
various club projects.

Mrs. Norman Minaker
of Goderich is the winner
of $500 this week in the
Ron Feagan Memorial
Grandstand lottery. She
held lucky ticket number
256.

and one brother, Bill
Caldwell of Clinton.
He was predeceased by
one sister, Agnes Cald-
well of Dungannon and
one brother, George
Caldwell of Goderich.
A funeral service was
held at the MacKenzie -
McCreath Funeral Home
in Lucknow on Monday,
April 7 at 2 p.m. Mr.
Hubert Lawrence of-
ficiated. Mrs. Thomas
Pritchard was the.
organist and music for
the service was provided
by the Mennonite
Quartet.
Interment was in
Dungannon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were
Wayne Dam, Paul
Caldwell, Brian Huston,
John Baynham Jr.,
Patrick Pettypiece and
Terrance Pettypiece.
Honorary bearer was
Laird Spivak of
Dungannon.
Flower bearers were
Ronald Mason, Donald
Huston. and • Stephen
Love.
