special St. Pat's program
on Monday afternoon
when Miss Coleen
McQuire entertained the
residents by singing some
beautiful Irish melodies.
Coleen also played her
guitar and mouth organ.
We have Coleen's
program ,on the ivideo so
are fortunate to be able to
enjoy her again at a later
date.
On Wednesday af-
ternoon, the Auburn
Women's Institute helped
celebrate all our arc
birthdays. Mrs. Eleanor
Bradnock, who is
president of the Auburn
W.I., was the MC for the
afternoon. A sing -song
led 'by Ruth Jordin ac-
companied by Lois'
Haines at the piano
started the program off.
Mrs.. Laura May'
Chamney played a piano
medley. Next was a
reading from Marion
Haggitt.
Oliver Anderson played
several selections on --'his,
violin accompanied by
Mrs. Marjorie at the
piano. Miss Beth Hawley
favoured us with'a piano
solo, and Beth along with
her little sister Amy,
sang a duet. Ruth Jordin
and Phyllis Rodger also
sang a duet. Ross
Rd iinson played his
mouth organ ac-
companied by' Mrs.

favourable comments
from the residents
concerning the program
as we accompanied them
back to their rooms.
