Producers facing losses WINGHAM - A number of local egg producers are part of a group facing losses totalling nearly $500,000 dollars as a result of the bankruptcy of a Burlington egg grading company. The company, C.B. White Foods Ltd„ went into receivership about two weeks ago when the Bank of Montreal called in a demand loan: However, producers did not learn of th'h action until their cheques from the company began 'bouncing, by which time many had sent further shipments of eggs. Meetings have beep going on between the bank, the egg marketing board• and the govern- ment in an attempt to resolve the matter. ' Jackson Dunkin of RR 2, Wingham had shipped 5,000 dozen eggs, worth about $4,000, while another area man Max Demaray of RR 2, Bluevale may have lost $9,000. ° Man/ OttlOC p® w er Tools 1n Sto- -- BSE At M®w AV MIAMI S.E.
