Stephen called Jesus
"Lord" (Acts 7: 59,60),

Jesus as Lord (Rom.

"Lord" in these verses

Is it not rather evident
from this that Christ the

3. Attributes' of. Christ
show that He is God.
Jesus Christ knows all

6:64; 16:30; 21:17). He is

Must agree
Dear Editor:
For --once I must agree
with Mr. Barney in his
letter of March 13. It is
time he left it to Jehovah
to vindicate His own
name.
As for J.L. Weigand's
letter in the same issue, it
is certainly very long, but
he misses the point,
namely that the Wat-
chtower Society break
their own rules on
translating Kurios and
ha-Adon when it 'suits
them. He also used logic
in his determination, of
the nature of God.
Logic necessarily
reduces matters to man's
level of knowledge and
reasoning. If it were a
matter of logic, where -
would be the need for
faith? J.L. Weigand asks
"How can one raise
oneself from the dead if
you are dead?" Jesus
answers: "Break' clown
this temple, and in three
days I will raise it up"
(John 2: 19).
As for J.L. Weigand's
quote from John 14.. 28
"Because the Father is
greater than I am", Did
Jesus ever say that His
Father was better? At
that point when he was
speaking, Jesus was on
earth and therefore His
position was -lower than
His Father , having
subjected Himself to His
will; to descend to earth,
to die on a tree to save us
ALL.

•011101,
In Exodus 34:14 it is
clear that. we are to
worship no one but
Jehovah. But in Hebrews

Christ. In Isaiah 44:6

Christ Himself said that
worship is due to God

If Christ in His pre-

received worship, since
angels are not allowed to
receive worship (Rev.

worship of Him would be
idolatrous.
For all such reasons, it
is all the more lamen-
