Dear Editor,
Many learticies- have
been written on
loneliness, and countless
more will probably be
written in the future.
I never thought about
being lonely until I
figured out that in a few
yearstime I would be a
'senior citizen. Then I
would be 'retired' from
my job, if I didn't get
fired or laid• off in the
meantime.
I've many friends of
both sexes, all married.
My children are married,
and I have three gran-
dchildr,en. They all live in
Ottawa. Question. Do I
leave Hamilton, where I
live, and Stoney Creek,
where I work, and the
friends I've made in the
past 15 years, and go live
with my children, or near
them as the case and
funds, permit? Heaven
forbid -- No.
Don't get me wrong. I

Dear Editor,
This leiter is addressed
to anyone who has a dog
as a pet and lets him run

see them tied up. We hate
to tie our dog up too.
Sometirdes our pets will

chains and ropes or slip
out unnoticed. This we
understand (it has
happened to us) but some
of these pets are on the
loose all the time.
On Sunday, my
