father of the bride that
every bill that comes in
has his name on it, but
there is a definite
protocol of who pays fors
what. Some expenses are
borne by the 'bride and
-her family, but others are
traditionally taken care
of by the groom and his
• family.
To help you sort out just
who pays for what, see
listed below each party's
responsibility:
The Bride
1. Her trousseau.

groom. (Optional).

attendants.
5. Accommodations for
her aftendants.
6. Personal stationery
and calling cards.
7. If she is financially
independent, the bride
may assume any other of
her family's traditional
responsibilities.

as natural, but flawless.
Treated: natural stones

colors, radiation in which
the change of color is
usually not permanent.
• Imitation: look -similar
gems with different
compositions, as ."paste"
diamonds. Real gem-
stones have no air bub-
bles. Doublets: a sand-
wiched stone. Crown may
be a shallow diamond
glued at the ginclie to a
pavilion of diamond,

.quartz or glass. The
doublets are both gem-
stones, while false ones
or
fraud.
