Cake Frosting
1 c. butter or margarine,
softened
8 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. cocoa
3/ c. milk
4 tsp. vanilla
Combine cocoa and
sugar. Cream butter with,
one-half cocoa mixture.
Gradually blend in
remaining cocoa mixture
alternately with milk
adding vanilla. Beat until
smooth. If necessary, add
additional milk to good
spreading consistency.

One-third c. butter or

Two-thirds c. cocoa
Two andtwo-thirds c.
confectioners' sugar
One-third c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt butter in saucepan
over medium heat. Add
cocoa. Heat just until
mixtuhe begins to boil.
Stir constantly. Pour into
small mixer bowl.
-Graduallyy add -sugar and=__
milk alternately, beating
to good spreading con-
sistency. Add vanilla.
Use in pastry tube to
decorate cake with
