SEAFORTH - All town
employees have settled
with Seaforth's council
negotiating committee
for a two year wage in-
crease, but the town and
police association em-
ployees are still $250
apart.
The two-year contract
with town employees
carries a 10 per cent
increase for 1980, four per
cent for the first six
months of 1981, and
another four per cent for
the final sue months. The -
same "percentage has--
been offered offered to the police
association, but they are
asking for a one year
contract and say that the
town's offer is totally'
unacceptable.
Town employees have
also been placed on a grid
system, which allows for
yearly wage reviews.
