Mrs. Gordon
Hodgkinson of Goderich
brought an interesting
newspaper into our office
last week from St.
Anthony, Newfoundland.
•
St. Anthony is a remote
town on the• northeastern
tip of Newfoundland.
Mrs. Hodgkinson's
daughter lives there with
ler husband and three
children and volunteers
her services to the
Polaris News once a
week.
Up until Friday,
February 1, Polaris News
was simply typed and run
through a photo copier.
Now it is being printed
like a real newspaper and
the people love it --it is the
only one they have.
Although - the
--new spape --i-s- s ti 1-1---in-
crude form, ads are now
being sold to generate
revenue.
