On Sunday, March 2, 21
members of the Goderich
Figure Skating Club took
part in an interclub figure
skating competition.
Twenty other skating
clubs took part. Medals
were awarded to entrants

and third.
In Novice Dance, Leslie
Rean and Buffy Cook
placed ninth out of a
group of 33 entrants.
There were 14 entries in
Junior Dance and Lisa
Fisher and Susan Cook
placed fourth.
In Junior Ladies Free
Style, Lisa Fisher won a
gold medal for first place.
Cathy Gallow won a
bronze medal for third
place. Leslie Rean came
in fourth.
In JUnior Men's Free
• Style, there were 12
entries and Devin Horton
came in sixth..
Intermediate Dance
had 10 entries. Debbie
Horton. of Goderich and
her partner Curtis Moore
of Wingham won a gold
medal for first place:
Aveleigh Cook and John
Barger won a silver
medal for second place.

take place is in Sarnia on
March 14, 15 and 16. The
Goderich Figure Skating
club is sending 15 of our
skaters there and we wish
them the best.

Skating Carnival "Ice
Was" will be presented
on Saturday, March 8
with performances at
1:30 and 7:30. The theme
this year is "CIRCUS".
