The sixth meeting of
Tiger Dunibp 4-H Group
No. 1 "Decorating
Dollies" was held
Mandoy, March 3 in.
Colborne Township Hall,
Carlow, 7:00 p.m.
The meeting was called
to order with the 4-H
Pledge. Rhonda Bean
read the minutes of last
favourite" and was an-

present. They did, the
decorating know-how
quiz and also the
Decorators Dilemma
quiz. The girls then
worked on new knots.
The meeting was ad-
journed at 9:00 p.m:with
the 4-H Creed read by
Tracy Hill. The next
meeting will be Monday,
April 14 at Colborne
Township Hall at 7:00
p.m. Achievement Day
will be May 1 and the
group will be presenting
an exhibit.
Training schocilfor the
next project has been
announced and the first
day of training school will
be at the end of March.

resided in Colborne until
a young man when he

mechanic. He served in
the Navy in World War I
and World War II.

„Neubiggin Funeral Home
with burial to be in Mount
Pleasant Cemetery.
He was predeceased by
his parents and a brother,

Evacuate school
after bomb scare
SEAFORTH - Seaforth
Public School students
were evacuated from the
school on February 27
after staff at the school
received a bomb threat.
The caller, who said his
name Was "CarrutifeFfee
said that he was calling
from' the East Wawanosh
area, and told the teacher
who answered the
telephone that there was
a bomb in the school and
"you better get out."

when the teacher asked
the caller to repeat the
statement, the caller,' a
male adult, warned "you
better get out."
The- call came,, to the
school at 12:22 pm, the
police and fire depart-
ments were called and
-the schpol was
evacuated.
A search by the police
and fire departments
found "nothing out of the
ordinary."
Senior citizens in the area. will be called on wlthin
the next month to help Compile a survey on the
needs and wants of the elderly. The team con-
