The Signal -Star has a
new policy regarding
coverage of fashion
shows. ri
Fashion shows will be
treated as news with
major coverage given to
the first one held in the
spring and the first one
held= in the fall: Other
shows will receive only
one. picture and a cutline
if requested.
Signal -Star is making
no distinction between
fashion shows staged by
merchants and those'
staged by church groups.
Children's fashion
shows will be treated on
their own merit: ' '
An exception will be
made for fashion shows
sponsored by special
groups like the Cancer
Society. Advance
publicity will be given to
attract more' people to
thes. ^
The onus is on,,people to
contact the Goderich
editorial department to
make arrangements for
coverage of any kind.
