RANDALL MARRIOTT Couple celebrate holden wedding anniversary at On FeMuary 26, 1930, Cleta McCreath and Randall Marriott were 'married in the home_of her mother, Mrs. Mamie McCreath. The Reverend R.C. .McDermott per- formed the ceremony. LastSaturday, February 23, the couple celebrated their 50th anniversary at home with friends and family. Mrs. Marriott is 73 years old and her husband is 74. Mr. and Mrs. Marriott have resided in Saltford for the .last 25 years. Prior to that they lived in Goderich where Mr. Marriott owned Mariotte Transport. In 1952, he sold out to Boyes Tran- sport and . worked for. themuntil his retirement 12 years later. The Marriotts-have one• daughter, Marjorie, who is Mrs. John Pentland of RR6 Goderich. They also have four grandchildren, three boys and one girl. The couple have dif- home. ferent ideas as to the reasons • a marriage can last for 50 years.
