- 1979 DEVELOPMENTS
- Second year of Neighbourhood Improvement Program completed.
-Completion of Highway No. 21 expansion project
- Installation of Police Communication System utilized by Towns of
Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Seoforth & Wingham.
- Authorization to proceed with revised taxation for 1980 purposes.
Equalizing of taxes within classes of residential, industrial and com-
mercial.
• Conclusion of 54 Senior Citizen project. Building to be constructed in
1980.
- Establishment of reserves and increasing of present reserves for
future municipal requirements.
- Application for an extenslon to the present Neighbourhood Im-
provement Program for the year 1981.
- Application for participation in o new Neighbourhood Improvement
Program.
- Completion of two more blocks on the Square in conjunction with
B.I.A.
- Much work, time and effort by all Council Members and Members of
Boards and Committees in all areas.
- Start of construction for Suncoast Drive extension.
