Theatre production.of the
season, The Miracle
Worker, on April 24-26
and May 1-3.

had to be chosen with
extreme care and the
show will be built around
them. Debbie has acted in
many G.D.C.I. drama
club productions and

Fiddler on the Roof.

Huron County Library,
,according to the annual
report.

was 286,253, an increase
of 19,160 over the same'
period in 1978. Bayfield,
Goderich, Hensall,
Wingham ' and Zurich
branch libraries showed
' marked increase in
circulation.
Total number of
requests filled at
headquarters in Goderich
was 2,598 items, an in-
crease of 425 over the 1978
total. Film bookings
-increased 22 per cent -tip -
to 2,614 films borrowed.

were purchased for
Clinton, Seaflirth 'and

copies of their town
newspaper on microfilm.
Signs with library
hours were installed in
the village libraries.
Book drops were
purchased for Clinton,
Exeter and Seaforth.
New staff members
were hired at several
branches during the year.

meetings were held for
the town and village
libraries and one rhepting
for the other 17 branches.
Three students ' were
hired through Experience
'79. They visited'vacation
camps and held story
hours - and crafts" at
A,uburn, Dungannon,
•Blyth and Belgrave.
Book Clubs were ' for-
..m.ad at Grld.ericli and
Bayfield Branches.
Huron County received
a $7,000 Wintario grant
• for the purchase of
'Canadian books.
The library par-
ticipated in the half -back
program for the purchase
of Canadian records.
Four Perth County
townships, Wallace,
Hibbert,, )31anshard and
Fullerton, gave grants to
Huron County Library for
service. to Perth
residents.,•
The Seaforth Huron
Expositor, and the Zurich
Citizens N,ews were
microfilmed. The 1978
editions of other local
newspapers were also put
on microfilm.

Street, South in ,Goderich
for the express purpose of
"a new library
headquarters. •
