• Last Saturday the
Maitland Country Club
hosted the sixth annual
High Sdhool Bonspiel,
• The Bonspiel is
organized and run by
Doug Bundy, the high
school curling coach, and
this year six teams
competed for the trophy
presented by the Kin-
tt.
The Goderich bantam
13s split a pair of league
games last week in
WOAA action.
The Bs lost a 4-2
deciSion 'in Listowel last
Tuesday and rebounded
for a 503 win over Hensall
in Goderich.
Against Listowel the
teams tied 1-1 after .one
period -but Listowel held a
3-2 edge heading into the
final period. They added
an insurance goal inthe
final period.
Ray Vanstone scored
the first goderich goal
from Lee Frisby and Jeff
Feagan in the first
period. Doug Smith
added the second
Goderich goal.
