Brian Miller continues to be hot winning his tenth to lead the honorary roles with a very im- pressive .875 win -loss percentage. Doug Brindley also is con- tinuing to have a good season winning his game. Petrolia blanks Steelers 0 The Goderich Lakeport Steel Bantams trail Petrolia by one game in their best -of -five OMHA playoff series. Here Saturday the disciplined Petrolia team blanked the Steelers 5-0 to take lead in the series. The second game will be played. in Petrolia Saturday and the third game of the series will be in Goderich Sunday at •4.30 p.m. following the juvenile game. The Steelers were little match for the larger, strong skating Petrolia club but did have some fine scoring opportunities on the power play. Petrolia held a 2-0 Lead after the first period and increased the margin to 4-0 after_ two_ periods, ._ They added one goal in the final period, Eric Shabsove scored twice for Petrolia while Darrin Fleming, Jeff LeClaire and Kevin Helps scored singles. Jeff Denomme played in goal for Goderich and turned in a fine per- formance despite the less. The following members of the Goderich Figure Skating club placed in the top three in the begin- ners, stroking and elementary test levels.
