possibly an aspiring coluninist in an
Egyptian weekly newspaper, decided
to create an interest in. this soft, shiny
metal he had seen somewhere.
He sold his idea to, a couple of
pharaohs .hot realizing, that what
started as.a gimmick designed to earn'
him some lunch money would end up,
about o thousand years later,
cailsink people to pull out their 'teeth
and sell them.
It could easily have started in that

Let's face it if word got out .cktihad a
solid golcrehait in your living room it
probably would very quickly end up in
someone else's living room.
And so my plan. Not unlike. the
Egyptian columnist' 1 don't want to
make millions just a little something to
help buy lunch.
r looked at a number of metals and
all have ;some function in oday's
society, to say, nothing of their value on
the open market. But one thing
everyone seems to have plenty of and
little use for is mud.
Before you scoff and let your pet bird
. do nasty things on this page give it
some thought.
If nothing else mud could save the

at the ghastly rate of 12 percent', and
invested $35,000 in gold today that
investment would have paid off your
second mortgage and left, you ,with

But why suffer the agony of calling
yOurself an idiot. Get in on the mud
craze and makasorne of that mbney for
yourself.
Here's hoW it works. You just start
raving over Mud. You claim you just
love the way it looks hanging around
your -neck. You claimit works like a
charm on these nasty cavities and you
say your Mud candleabra is just the
thing your living 'room needed to be

The next step is a world market. If
the , rest of the' world- needs en-
couragement to give up its. passion for
gold and turn t6 inud we may have to

For gold loVers there's gold mud, for
silver owners we can paint our stuff

If the worst comes to the worst we
still have an out. If we can't start a mud
rush we may have to look at pet mud. A
