several factors, some of

the Roll Call, What are

energy?, were given by
the members. -
Four members
celebrated birthdays
A report was given on

Huronview in December.
The members were
responsible fpr the ,en-
tertainment, gifts
n-tertainment,-gifts for the
-.residents who had bir-
thdays in December, and...
the cookies and tea which
were served. •
The February meeting
will start with a potluck
luncheon at 12:30, and the
District President, Mrs.
Wictiam Porter, will
attend.
Mrs. A. Straughan, as
program convener, had
Mrs. Doris Pagan and her
daughter, Suzanne Kolk-
man of Suz-A-Dor•, Crafts;
give 'a ;denionstrafion' on,:,_.
making fridgefaces, and'°
many other items which'
were not too difficult to
make. •
Mrs. Morley thanked
the. ladies ' and Mrs.
Straughan presented
each with a gift.

Rocker", was read by
Mr§:. Straughan and she
had several hints on the
best way of 'buying and.
preparing foods from the
Family Circle Magazine.
Mrs. Clairmont had a
suitable poem before
closing the meeting by
the singing of the Queen.
and the Institute Grace.
A social half hour was
enjoyed by all over a cup
of tea, sweet breads and
cheese.. ' New members
are always welcome.

Dungannon's 125th 'bir-
thday, a committee' of
ladies ' from the
Dungannon Women's
Institute is putting
together a history book on
the south part of Ashfield
and West Wawanosh
Townships, the village of
Dungannon and Port
Albert which marks its
140th birthday this year.
Putting a history book
together is a big task and
the ladies on the •com-
mittee would be . most
appreciative of help from
those in the commpnityp
They are looking for both
information and old
pictures of past councils,
• schools, churches, stores,
houses, families, sports
•. teams, etc. in the book's
coverage area.
