In a game against Mitchell December 17 the Mustangs settled for a 6-6 tie and --on •._Decen ..er22 they drilled Listowel 10-2. In the game against Mitchell the Mustangs led 5-4 after two periods of play but needed a late third 'period goal by Mark Rowe to salvage the tie. Goderich trailed 2-1 after the first period of play but outscored Mitchell 4-2 in the second period to lead 5-4 heading -.4n -to -the -final -period, - Mitchell scored two goals. in. 41 seconds early in the third period to take a 6-5 lead but Rowe scored midway through the period to earn the tie. Rick Stahl, led. the ;Mustangs offence with two goals and an assist. Mike Wedlock, Larry Boyce, Duanne Elliott and Rowe added single goals. In a game against Listowel here D.ecember 22 the Mustangs scored five first period goals and Eoasted,to a_10-2 The midgets led 7=0 in the second period before.
