The ladies of Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Goderich have been giving gifts to the
children at Queen Elizabeth School for the past eight years, a tradition they inherited from
the ladies of the Clinton Christian Reformed Church who started the gift presentation 21
years ago. This year Helena Schoemaker was one of the church ladies who presented gifts to
the children. She is shown with Brian Cook, Bonnie Martin and Patricia Kelly. (Photo by

gifts to each of the members from their
secret sisters.
Joanne Collins reported that over $1,200
has been raised for the Diabetes campaign. -
Jennifer Black reported on the sale of por-
trait coupons. She asked that people let her
know by Jan. 8 how many coupons had been
sold so that she could set up a time schedule
for the photographer. The photographer will
be in Goderich the weekend of Jan. 11 to
take portraits. The price of the coupon is
$8.98 as a donation to Lioness Club and en-
titles the purchaser to a free 8 x 10 portrait.

Club enjoys
brass quintet
The Goderich & District After Five Club
enjoyed the music of the G.D.C.I. Brass
Quintet on December 10 at the Saltford
Valley Hall.
Kings Book & Gift Shop supplied many
good ideas under $10 for the last minute
shopper.
Members enjoyed the Christmas at-
mosphere as they listened to the speaker,
Lynda Marshall. Lynda, stated that for a
while the Bible to her was a book to dust and
trust but never to open. Lynda is a very
talented lady and she explained that it was a
very hard decision for her to give up the
perfect job, for her, in order to stay in
Shallow Lake with her husband and his
ministry.
Lynda decided to open her Bible and real-
ly get into what it had to say to her and it
changed her attitude on many things. She
said, "To her Christianity is a relationship
with a Father who loves us totally." Lynda
said the best gift to give to God is us, our life.
