Goderich are proud to announce the gradua-
tion of their son David on October 25, 1985
from the University of Waterloo. David
received a Masters of Applied Science
degree ht electrical enghieering. Mlle stu-
dying at the University of Waterloo, he. was
supported by the Natural Sciences and
Engineering Research Council Scholarship
program. He is now employed by DALSA
Inc. in Waterloo. David is a graduate of
Goderich District Collegiate Institute and
Robertson and Victoria Public Schools.
The students of Victoria Public School were treated to a glimpse of several professions and
disciplines during the school's first Career Day Wednesday. In the above photo, Constable

Juanita
Fielder,
daughter of George and
Beverley Fielder, R.R. 6, Goderich, recent-
ly graduated from St. Lawrence College,
Kingston. Juanita received her diploma as
an Animal Care Technician and is currently
employed at St. Joseph Hospital, London in
research.

Pte. Dennis Schneider, son of Mr. and Mrs.
James Schneider, Auburn graduated from
Canadian Forces Recruit School, Canadian
Forces Base Cornwallis, Nova Scotia on
Nov. 7. He is now training as a Vehicle
Technician at Canadian Forces, School of
Administration and Logistics at Canadian
Forces Base, Borden. Pte. Dennis Schneider
is a graduate of G.D.C.I.
Graduation
The fifty-first convocation ceremony at the
University of Waterloo saw the graduation
of a former Huron County resident Eldo
Hildebrand. Eldo finished six years of full
and part-time work with a Doctorate of
Philosophy in Civil Engineering. Eldo was
able to return to Waterloo from Edmonton
for the convocation ceremony on Friday,
October 25. His parents, John and Margret
Hildebrand also attended. Convocation
marked the end of marriage to a student for
Johanna and the start of having a full-time
father for Martina and Kristina. Eldo will be
continuing his work as a Research Officer
with Alberta Research Council in Edmon-
ton,
