Therefore, it has developed four brochures dealing with crimeproofing tips for the public — steps citizens can take to help eliminate the chances of becoming victims of crime. One contains crime prevention in- formation for women and another deals with crimeproofing for seniors. Two new pamphlets are available this year: one teaches parents how to crimeproof their children and the other deals with the subject of child sexual abuse. The Ministry has also produced a new kit to help prevent armed robbery. The Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General is responsible for law enforcement and public safety in the province.
