Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morris Sr. of 120 Bruce St., Goderich celebrated their 50th wedding an- niversary with an open house and reception at the home of their son, Jim Morris Jr. of Goderich. Married in Kippen United Church Oct. 28, 1935 the Morrises have lived ?n Goderich for more than 45 years. The couple had six children and those in attendance in- cluded son John of Ottawa, daughter Joan of Victoria, British Columnbia, daughter Diane of London and daughter Frances. Many of the couple's 20 granchildren also attended the reception Saturday. ( photo by Dave Sykes) Surgery nurse speaks to hospital auxiliary group meeting Marjorie Robinson, head nurse in surgery, spoke at the regular monthly meeting of the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Auxiliary Oct. 21. Robinson spoke to-"the'group -about fief and indicated that our feet carry us 70,000 miles, the equivalent of three trips around the world, in our lifetime. She stressed teh importance of taking care of feet. Robinson showed slides of foot problems and some of the instruments used in the hospital to care for patients' feet. The auxiliary outlined plans for the an- nual bake and craft sale to be held in the auxiliary room of the hospital Nov. 2g. -- Reports were given by officers and c'iln- venors and those who attended the Fall Con- ference for hospital auxiliaries m Wingham.
