January second, 1843. At the meeting of
Freeholders and Householders held this day
in the Goderich Hotel, the following were
elected; Patrick Gallagher - Councillor;
John Shaw - Township Clerk; Common
School Commissioners - George Fraser,
John Shaw, Patrick Patton, John McLean; -
John Glazier, Neil McKee and John Small;
George Cox - Assessor; Joseph Young - Col-
lector.
