DAT ON NIGHT
ATV action returned to Hully Gully this
weekend with riders competing from all
across Ontario.
Even though riding conditions were
greasy in the morning due to wet weather,
the afternoon program turned into top -
caliber racing. With warm, sunny weather
later on, spectators came out to cheer on
their local riders.
In the, 200 Solid Class the Parkhill riders
took heme the top three trophies. The
action -packed 250 Stock Class saw riders
from Delhi, Blenheim, Ingersoll, and Clin-
ton battle it out for the full 10 laps. However,
Allan Dierick from Delhi came out on top
with Paul Fenton of Blenheim finishing
close behind.
Local rider, Byron Boyes, from Clinton,
captured 4th place. The 250 Modified Class
saw another local rider, Chuck Collins, of
Varna, win the first moto but due to
mechanical problems in the second moto, he
had to settle for fourth overall. Paul Far-
quhar from Clinton took 'home the cash in
the 200 Modified Class with a second in the
first moto and a first in the second .oto, to
finish on top in front of Kevin Williamson
from Camlachie.
The next ATV race will be held on Sunday,
June 30 at the Brigden Fairgrounds. Racing
gets underway at 2:00 p.m. with racing
