Area racers farewell
at Hully GuiIy opener
Riders from all over Ontario competed
for over $1000.00 in trophies and cash
prizes at the 1985 ATV season opener, held
at Hully Gully on Sunday.
CRC Productions, the promoter of the
event, hosted over 50 riders from 200 c.c. to
350 c.c.,.both three and four -wheelers. Tim
Hart of Barrie put on an excellent show
with his Suzuki Quad -racer, turning 56 -
second lap times.
The weather was wet and cool in the
morning but it cleared up in ,the early
afternoon to put the track in super -fast
condition.
The next ATV race is scheduled for May
19 at the Tiverton Mudfest and on June 1 at
the Clinton Spring Fair.
Sunday's results are as follows:
Four Wheeler: Tim Hart, Barrie; Rick
Roesler, Plattsville; Chris Banendregt, Pt.
Stanley.
200 Solid: Jeff Chuter, Varna; Kevin
Williamson, Camlachie; Shawn Hansford,
Mossley.
200 Stock: Mark" Dohnage, Camlachie;
Paul Hill, Mitchell; Bob Brulotte, Dor-
chester.
250 Shaft: Robert Funk, Mooretown;

• MONDAY NIGHTLADIES
The playoffs have stat te4 and the League
has been split into two din. Ions,. Metals a;
prize for the highest total infall in both "A"
and "B" division. -
Shirl's Girls Jed the "A" division with a
total pinfall of 3623. The "Girls" had some
good games rolled- by Barb Almasi 211,
Joyce Pettus 215, Mary Lynne Telford 227,
Bev Whetstone 232, Dorothy Bourdeau 617
and Shirley Kennedy, 743 triple.
The Marionettes are a close second in the
"A" division with a pinfall of 3442. They are
only 181 pins behind the leader. High rollers.
for the Marionettes were Ila Williams 191,
Kitty Smith 218, 219, and Marilyn Bannister
660 triple.
Auleen's Angels are in third place with a
pinfall of 3275 and 348 pins' behind the leader.
Leading the "Angels" were Marj Miller 174,
Karen Mero 191, Grace Mugford 194 and
Brenda Dineen 221, 615 triple.
There are four Learns in the "B" division
and it has turned into a real battle as there
are only 122 pins separating the bottom
team from the top team.
The No Names lead the "B" division with
a total pinfall of 3188.High Rollers were June
Rourke 165, Anne McCartney 197, Donna
Duncan.218 and Del Geddes 749 triple.
The Blazers are only 29 pins from first
place and had a total of 3159. The Blazers
were led by Earleen Spain 181, 187, Joyce
Hamilton 222 and Jean Pinder 578 triple,
Trouble is in third place and only 104 pins
behind the leaders. High singles were rolled
by Karen Walker 193, Audrey Durnin 203,
Ruth Ann Brennan 213, and Liz Kruspe 580
triple.
The Oldtimers are in fourth place but still
only 122 pins from the top team: Good games
were rolled by Kris Miller 234, Nancy White
254, 643 triple and Bev Million 263, 649 triple. "
Donnelly team
tops in bridge
On April 23, 1985 the Goderich Duplicate
Club hosted an 11 -table Mitchell game,
directed by Mary Ann Dempsey,
The average score for the North-South
direction was 165 points. Eleanor Erskine
and Mary Donnelly came first with 195
points. They were first over all the field. Se-
cond place, with 192 points, were Verna
Worthy and Jean Cook. Jane and Brian Cep'e
were thii d with 1831/2 points. Fourth place
went to Lee Ryan and Joanne Gilchrist with
1761 points.
The average score for the East-West divi-
sion was 165 points. Bill *Duncan and Ralph
Kingswell came first with 190 points. Second
place with 182% points were Kay Duncan
and Nula Conlon. John Wood and Marg Hall
were third with 176% points. Fourth place
went to Barb Howe and Marion Lane with
1741/2 points.
