They allay with you, buy stuff and give you
presents like baby sisters and brothers
Mothers are, greatpeople to play with, buy
you stuff, give you neat presents like baby
sisters and brothers and bake you cakes.
Students of the kindergarten class at Vic-
toria Public School all agree that their
morns are pretty special. And when asked
by the Goderich Signal Star, they were full
of reasons why they'd be telling their moms
'how special they were on Mother's Day this
Sunday.
Six-year-old John Jenkins says he'll be
making his mom a spaceman for Mother's
Day thanking hex -far the He -Man book she
just bought him.
"I think she real nice and she likes,me•
when.I make her stuff. I think I'll make her
lots of stuff to play with," he says.
Tammy Morris and her two olders sisters
are going to buy their mom a cup with a rose
on it for Mother's Day.
"She buys us Clothes and stuff. She's
special even though she sends me to beu ear-
ly and I hate naps,"says Tammy.
Luke Hay's mom is also a flower lover so
Luke says he'll make his mom some flowers
in a vase for the bathroom and a comb.
"I'll make roses, tulips, daffodils and
violets and put a niece of tissue paper over
them so it'll -be a big surprise because I like
her and she likes everything," he says.
A pickle made out of paper could be the
perfect gift for Jamie McDougall's mom,
says Jamie who adds his -mother also like
jewellry and clothes,
Helping her mom look after: hernew .baby
sister, Tracey will be one of Tanya Ken-
nedy's Mother's Day presents to her mom.
"We got a baby for Easter or Valentine's
Day (I can't remember which) and she's
cute. My sister wanted a baby boy but Pm
glad she's' a girl. I'm going to help my Mom
get a rest," says Tanya.
A bracelet and a i,uua0-u,latic uuyin, tial Vow
bage patches might also make good
presents for her mom, says Tanya.
Angie Corriveau's mom is special because
she buys presents for Angie and makes real-
ly good cakes and pies.
"I'm going to make her a picture for
Mother's Day for something special because
she makes lunch, babysits my baby sister
and watches Mr. Dressup on TV with me,"
says Angie.
Another flower lover is Matthew Hoy's
mother who's special because she's looking
-after 1Iatthew's brother who has the
chicken pox. She also surprised the family
at Easter by buying presents when no one
thought they would be getting presents, says
Matthew.
"Dad always gets her Mowers. I like
smelling flowers and Mom does too," he
says.
