Canadian Brass at Huron Country Playhouse
Canadian Brass will perform
at Huron Country Playhouse
On July 14 The Canadian Brass will pre-
sent two outstanding concerts that are sure
to excite the audiences of Huron Country
Playhouse.
Their music is nothing less than superb.
Their wit and talent have thrilled people
world wide.
The Canadian Brass are one of two groups
to be, presented at the Playhouse during the
'85 Season. The Nylons, as previously an-
nounced, will also appear on June 151or two
concerts.
Tickets are on sale now to subscribers and
members and go on sale to individual ticket
buyers May 1. Don't delay, tickets will not
last long for these events.
Maple Leaf Chapter hears
about Friendship House.
Grace Hunter was hostess for the April
meeting of the Maple Leaf Chapter IODE
The Regent, Mrs. R.L. McDonald, presided.
Jean Schaefer read the minutes of the
March meeting and Treasurer Nancy
Nephew gave the financial report.
,Johnin Strickland, on behalf of Services,
told the members that Don Aberhart had

memory of his wife Florence: She had been
a member of the Chapter for many years. A ,
letter of appreciation has been sent.
Pauline Knight, Citizenship Chairlady,
reminded the members of the May 24
celebration with Maitland Manor residents

transferred from the C.A. McCall Chapter in
Simcoe.
Ways and Means Co -Chair ladies Linda
Edward and Ruth Ross reported on the re-
cent Break Dancing Exhibition and the up-
coming Giant Garage Sale sponsored by the
Recreation Board. It was decided to par-
ticipate m the sale.

Annual Meeting is 'May 23-27 at Niagara.
Valls. The Regent introduced speakers June
Taylor and Judy Cieslar who told of their
Work with Survival Through Friendship
House. Many questions were answered for
the members and Cathy Soddy thanked the
