Hard' work, imagination and some mighty sore finger tips have
gone into the making of this quilt, but the labor is well worth it. This
special autograph quilt has been created by the Goderich Township
Enterprising Seniors in celebration of the township's 150th birth -
,ay. It features more than 860 names of local residents. Quilting is
now being completed on this magnificent cowring and it will be

good to the ladies groups in Goderich
Township for their 150 dessert euchre party
on March 20.
There were 44 tables filled for euchre.
Winners were: men's high Jean Plaetzer,
men's low Wm. Bottema; ladies' high, Bet-
ty Archambault, ladies' low, Lois Wise;
Lone hands, Mille Rumball. The door
prize was won by Blanche Deeves. The se-
cond door prize was won by Laura Adams
and was donated by Jeannette Martin. The
apples were donated by Art Bell. Thanks to
all the workers and those who came for
'their day of fun. It was a very big success.
The Goderich Township W.I. will hold a
card party on March 28 at 8 p.m. at Com-
munity Centre in Holmesville.
On April 7 join the Goderich Township
Sesquicentennial Easter Celebration at the
Holmesville Hall on Eater Sunday at 2 p.m.
and hear the township community choir.
Join the EnterprisingSeniors on March 28
for a trip to Schilbe's sugar bush. Please
meet at the Hall by 2 p.m. and join everyone
for pancakes and sausage and coffee in the
Community Centre at 4 p.m. Please phone

A maguiifitcent quilt, in honor of Goderich Townships 150th birthday is being stitched by
