Dizastors have taken a slight lead in
the first week of playoffs. Gerry Good led
the Dizastors with a 270 single and 657 triple:
Joan Eisenbach also chipped in with a 614
triple to, help put the Dizastors in first place.
Lois Rowe with singles of 234 and 236 and a
645 triple kept the Nightowls in contention.
Al Fisherwith a 629 triple also aided the
cause. The Semis moved to third place led
by Bob Johnston's 553 triple. Close behind in
fourth place are the Four Seasons. Dan
Bizier was- the high bowler for the Four
Seasons with a 566 triple.
.In fifth place, right on the heels of the
Four Seasons are the "A" Team. Debby
Good and Eleanor Roosemalen with triples
of 559 and .545 respectively led the "A"
Team. In sixth place are the Copycats. High
bowler for the Copycats was Elsa Fickert
with a 559 triple.
SENIOR CITIZEN BOWLING
Scatterbrains took a. clean sweep against
Arts Tart's, Jean Sinnarnon, 192; 199 did well
for the Braids, while Marge J'ewe11,173, was
best for the Tart's. • ' .•
Pin Pickers gathered .'.five. points and
Headpins two. Percy Blundell; 211'., was high
man for the Pin Pickers, Ed Smythe, 200 for
the Headpins.
M dcap's did well to get five points from
Ed's Girls. Dave Harman, 539, Hubert De-
jardines, 502, bowled well for. the Caps. Ed
Taylor, 583, continues his fine form. •
' Vitus got seven points from the Ups &
Downs, all the Vims had 'gond games with
Helen Watson, 201, being the highlight for
the Ups & Downs. Irene Sparks bowled 560.
The Gems starting to move up the league
also got seven points. Mary Harman, 207,
• Ed Brooks, 202, both had good games. The
unlucky G & M's had one of -their bad days.
The Vims now have a clear lead at the top.
