The leaders 'of both agrzculture' and
homemaking clubs gathered to find 1114 the
details, of the 1985 4-11 program for 11,1400
and to (Weever the needs of rural youth.
The 4-11 co-ordinator from the Ministry of
Agrwulture and Food for Huron, Karen
' Rodman, outlined the year. Organizational
meetings will 'be held over . the next six
weeks across the county. • „; '
Two new clubs, a crop club in the.
Lucknow area and a vet club in north Haren>
are being started this year. Also, a leader is
° being sought for' the Central Huron crops
club.
Throughout the 441 year there will be such
cbmpetitions as judging, demonstration,
Reach for the Top, a quiz membership gate
sign and press reporter/There are also ex-
changes to other provinces and the United
States.
Ms. Redman explained that 4-11 leaders
have to remember a 4-H member's needs in-
clude independence, trust, resources, role
models and freedom to make decisions.

Ori Sunday, Mareh 10 the Team Cham-
pionship house round was held _at Little
Bowl. Four teams from Goderich made it,
and will be going on to the zone finals in
April. They will be competing for the right
to go on to the provincial championships and
a shot at a trip to Florida. The toms finish-
ed as follows: The Question Marks, Tuesday
Mixed - 424 pins -over -average; Huronia
Hustlers, Tuesday Farmers,- 413 pins -over -
average; Ernie's Road House, Wednesday
Mixed - 202 pins -over -average. Murphy's
Landing - Monday Men, 97 pins -over-

Bowling high single for men was Tom
Willis, 278 and Jack Gilbert, a 768 high tri-
ple. Donna Hayderit276, high single and
Mary Bissett, a 661i.trple for the ladies.
On Sunday night league play finished with
Lucy's Gang taking first place and Wise
Guys and Little Gems tied for second, in
third place Sandys Stars. •
Wise Guys took the full seven from Hot
Spots Man MacLean of Wise Guys had a
275 for 734 high three for the men, Diane
MacLean 214, Ray Wise, 217 and Lee Cair-
ncross, for 202. Michelle Bizier, a 182, for the
losers.
Six Pointers lot 5-2 to Sullens Six, Janet
Daer of Sullens a 289 high for ladies and a
625 Barry Sullens, 208, Sheila Sullens 211 for
six points. Janice Dougherty 265 for 638 high
for the ladies, Tom Willis 249.
Little Gems had a 5-2 win over Cool Six.
Little Gem Gerry Morgan 228, 228, 250 for
706. Cool Six, Ted Johnston 285 high single
for the men, 213 for 686, Scott Little 216, 232
for639. •
Spoilers won 5-2 over Karen's Kats. For
the win Jack Gilbert, 241, 234 for 667, Doug
Haskell 256, 201 for 631. Kats bowler Allan
Webster 236, Libby Wilson 219.
Lucy's Gang took a 5-2 win over No Names
John Bissett, 241, 201, Mary Bissett 200 for
the win. Arlene Curran of No Names, 271 for
a 637.
Noddy Pins had a 4-3 win over Sandy's
Stars, Don Bauer 213, Kevin WIllis and
Steve Johnston 209 each for the Noddy Pins.
