oderich Figure Skating Club puts on dazzling -display here
Members of the Goderich Figure Skating Club strutted their stuff Saturday as.they put on a forrnances. The show featured a bit of everything from a pairs routine and the elegance of
dazzling display before a large audience of parents and friends at the Goderich Memorial Emma Hollingworth's solo spot to the antics of a group of clowns, Smurfs and Cabbage
Arena. While the club will not stage its annual figure skating carnival, Saturday's show was Patch Kids. (photos by Dave Sykes)

to begin playoffs.
The Bayfield Recreational Hockey
League begins its playoffs this week after
a successful season. The playoff series will
pit Miller's Hilights against Allin's :Maple.

The season's awards go to Ken Young
who topped 'all rec leaguers in scoring;
Ron Miller touted as the top defensive
specialist in the league and rookie of the
year, Don Jeffrey.

Bridge Club
On February 26, eight tables competed in
the President's Cup competition, under the
direction of Eleanor Erskine, at the
Goderich Duplicate Bridge Club.
First, North-South, - Jane and Brian Cere,
102 points; second, Chris and Brian Reeve,
97; third Arleen Gibbons ' and Theresa
Donatis, 861/x; fourth, Verna Worthy and Pat
Stringer, 82.
East -west winners were: first, tied,
Joanne Gilchrist, Lee Ryan and Barb Howe,
Marg Hall, 90.5; third, Jean Cook, Dawna
Sproule, 90; fourth, Bill. Duncan and Ralph
Kingswell, 89.5.
On Thursday, February 28 a Howell game
was held.
First and second tied, Betty Garland and
Helen Young and Ralph Kingswell and Bill
Duncan, 21.5; third, Marg Hall,. Mary Don-
nelly, 21; fourth, Doris Lee, Eleanor Er
skin, 20.
Duplicate Bridge is played at the Cana-
dian Legion Hall every Tuesday at 7:45 p.nn.
