and 16, dropping both ringette games.
The first game, played in Goderich,.
resulted in a narrow 5-4 loss for the home
side. The score was knotted at two, after the
first frame, but Goderich was outscored 3-2
in the second and final period.
Karen Armstrong scored twice for
Goderich, while Kelly Lumley picked up a

Pee Wees eliminated
The last two weeks, the Goderich Lions
Pee Wees played three games, winning two
and losing one important OMHA contest.
In the OMBA contest against Strathroy at
the local arena the Lions went down to a 4-3
overtime defeat and were eliminated from
further playoffs.
This contest was a thriller, with the locals
dominating much of the game, as the shots
on goal (43-17) indicated. Goderich scored
two quick third period goals to take a 2-1
lead only to have the opposition tie the game
at the midpoint which continued until over-
time. Shawn Talbot tallied twice for the
Lions, with Tim Harrison scoring a single.
Assists went to Jeff Hodge, Andre Cauchi
and Brian Lane.
In Ripley last Saturday, the Lions played
an exhibition contest against Kalamazoo
Michigan and they came home 3-2 winners
in a very fast exciting contest. The locals
never trailed in this contest, but each time
they got a lead their opposition would make
a comeback.
