Men hold joint breakfast
Men of St. George's Anglican Church
joined the men of North Street United
Church for breakfast, on Sunday, February
3, at the Bedford Hotel.
Rev. Robert Crocker, pastor , of St.
George's and the guest speaker, based his
....tniessage..on.the..worslapf Psalm 8: 3 and 4,
"Wheh I consider your heaveig; the work-iif
your fingers, the moon and stars which you
have set in place, what is man that you are
mindful of him, the son ofman that you care
forhim?"
esih• Crocker suggested to the men that
sdine4thefelillionavg: scientifieprohlems
and such as the creationist -evolutionist con-.
flict, can be readily resolved if we
remember that men's experience of Ged,
precedes man's knowledge of God as reveal-
ed in the Bible. Man was conscious of God in
creation long before the writing of aetiesis.
.The pastor continued to explain that God
-- is both subject and_objectin.creation„Man.„.
can see God in everything arolind Him and
God can see himself in everything around
Him. He reveals himself to manldnd in His
creation, in His Son and in His Holy Spirit.
