Kindergarten class learns
space words at Brookside

Miss Garland's kindergarten class has
been, studying outer space by watching
video tapes and learning outer space words.
Mrs. Graham's grade four class made
kaleidoscopes in science and posters for the
library book fair.
Mr. Liddle's grade six class did a N.H.L-
hockey activity. Each person picked out a
hockey player and did spelling and, math
activities on him. They have also started the
novel, I Am David. Mr. Liddle and grade six
are cheering for the Torontn Mor 1n T

On Wednesday night the Warriors beat the
Mohawks 8-6 in floor hockey house league
competition.
Mr. Sygrove's class started a unit on
monsters this week. They also made new
writing folders. The new snowfall has given
them a chance to work on their snow forts.
Mrs. Blanchette's grade one are working
on their first published book about Giants.
The Library is holding a Great Canadian
Book Fair on January 28, 29, 30. The
students are making posters to advertise the
book fair which will be judged on Monday.
