Jack's Pack takes lead
in Foresters Mixed Lea
Jack and Olive Gilbert rolled triples of 628
and 563 respectively to lead the Jack's Pack
team to a 7-3 win over the Bob Cats. This win
gives Jack's Pack 36 points, a three point
lead over the second place Mad Bowlers.
Bob Cats high man was Captain Bob Kelly
with a 629 triple.
The Mad Bowlers defeated the Missing
Pins 5-2, mainly because of Brian Melick
rolling a 265 single and a 604 triple, plus Cap-
tain Tom Willis with his 602 three game
total.
The Wild Cats defeated the Stray Cats 7-0
to tie the Foot Pins with 31 points. Doug
Haskell of the Wild Cats showed good form
for a 665 triple, while his son, Lloyd, of the
Stray Cats pushed for a 299 third game, and
e
a total of 657. Lloyd's efforts came up a little
short where it really counts, on team points.
Sharon Johnston had a 249 single and a 564
triple for the Foot Pins against the Gutters
for a 5-2 win, and for a third place tie of 31
points. The Gutters and the Bob Cats have
exchanged places, last week the Gutters
were in last place and the Bob Cats second
last, now the Gutters are in second to last
place and Gutters last.
Next week the Mad Bowlers play Jack's
Pack. Next Sunday is the last week of play
before the Christmas holidays. Some extra
special prizes will be given out, so be
prepared, come with lots of strikes and
