Jack Cummings was the big gun for Little Bowl as he rolled a 336 single and triple. Carson Milky led Selinger Wood with a 622. At the same time, the second place team, John's Jokers, were being trounced 25-5 by Poverty Pak. Bruce Carrick sparked the Pak with a 644 triple matched by his teasnrnateGreg Little. John Miller was high for the Jokers with a 697. A pais. of 300 plus Heinz Warnerand GeorgeSartori, games by g along with three good 700 plus triples, were f Boys18-12 win rR,o Roy's toan enoughto we y Y ick McLean had a fine night over French. P� for French as he rolled a 352 single and 729 triple. The Tail Ends blasted Legion 109 24-0 this week led by Dennis Schmidt with a 679. Gerry Pitre was again the highest for the Legion with a 614. Cedar Lodge and A.M.&G. had a battle as they finished the night tied at 15 apiece. Steve Allen was the leader for A.M.&G. with a 677 triple and was closely matched by Mike Bond .for Cedar Lodge with a 665. MONDAY NIGHT LADIES This league is close as seven teams are within 12 points of the lead. A tie for the lead was brought about as Trouble, led by Audrey Brindley with a 573, came up with a big 5-2 win over the Marionettes. Betty Fisher led the Marionettes with a 526. These teams are tied at 54 points. Shirl's Girls re- main only one point behind the lead as they beat Joyce's Jets 5-2 tonight. Shirley Ken- nedy had a good night for the Girls as she rolled a 299 single and 673 triple. Heather Lamb with a 242 single, and Joyce Hamilton with a 588 triple, led the Jets. Auleen's Angels took five points as they defeated the Blazers. Grace Mugford led the Angels with a 522, closely matched by Lorraine Jones on the Blazers with a 460. The Oldtimers behind a 623 triple by Kris Miller, remained close as they trounced the No Names 7-0. Del Ged- des was the highest for the No Names with a 542. TUESDAY NIGHT FARMERS The Orioles remained on a hot streak as they took abig seven from the Country Pals. Kevin Meriam had an award winning 269 single, and a 737 triple by Al Pennie led the Orioles. Clare Million was the highest for the Pals with a 631 effort. The Goderich Lep- perds took five points from the Wood But- chers as Steve Little came through with a 255 single and 642 triple. Les Pitblado did /well for the Wood Butchers with a 558. The Nile team is beginning to come on as they took five points from the Timber Jacks. Tim Gaudette with a 285 single and 625 triple sparked the Nile to the win. Doug Fuller, with a 607 triple, led the Timber Jacks. Berzerko Buddies and the Goderich Hayseeds fought to a 4-3 split with the Bud- dies emerging as winners. Graham Hamilton helped the Buddies to the win with a 687. Rob Little on the Hayseeds also had a good night with a 689. The Goderich Kids, behind a 290 single and 766 from Steve Johnston, took five points from the Goderich Hustlers. Doug Haskell with a 609 led the Hustlers. TUESDAY NIGHT MIXED The Pin Pickers remain the leaders in this league with 53 points but the other teams made gains as they managed only two points against the Rooki"s. Jack Gilbert sparked the Rookies with a 804 triple. Brian Stewart was the leader for the Pin Pickers with a 670. The Unknowns remain in second place and gained ground as they took seven from the Unpredictables. Vi de Haas, with a 627, led the Unknowns. Helen Durnin had the high for the night for the Unpredictables with a 516. The Pinheads took five points as they defeated the Frame Ups. Marion Millar and Jim Martin with a 593 and 611 respectively headed the Pinheads and Col- een McGregor with a 633 led the Frame Ups. The Tricky Six also took five points as they defeated Barb's Gang. High Bowler on the Six was Dennis Schmidt with a 664. Steve Allen with a 724 led the Gang. Don Henry for Ernie's Road House had a 717 triple but his team was defeated 5-2 by the Bowled Eagles. Diane Sutton and Carl Ziebarth roll- ed a 689 and 679 respectively to lead the Eagles. Larry Million with a big 370 single and 812 triple was the deciding force in a 7-0 win for his Dirty Half Dozen over Bell's Angels. Walter Bell was also hot tonight as he rolled a 781 for the Angels. LADIES WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON The Happy Hippos remain hot as they were the winners of five points this week over the Monkeys. Grace Mugford with a 245 single and Shirley Smith with a 643 triple were leaders on the Hippos. Gail McWhin- ney was the highest for the Monkeys with a 546. The Ponies took five points from the Dainty Deers as Bernice Henry came through with a 627. Olive Gilbert did well for the Deers with a 630. Yvonne Dougherty, with a 493, led her Pussy Cats to a five point win over the Running Deers. High for the Deers was Ev McInnis with a 471. The Alley Cats also took five points as they defeated the River Rats. Marion Millar rolled a 482 for the Cats and Lois Haggitt rolled a 456 for the River Rats. The Cuddly Bears sparked by Connie Willis with a 574, took seven big points from the Tigers. Mike Chambers led the Tigers with a 560 triple. The Lions, led by Joanne Ducharme with a 629 triple came out on the winning end of a 4-3 split over the Eager Beavers. Irene Sparks for the Beavers had a fine night with a 266 single and 695 triple. WEDNESDAY NIGHT MENS Here is another close league as five teams are within 10 points. The Nimmrods remain the leaders as they took five points from Lit- tle Joe's. Jim Keller, was the high man for the Nimmrods with a 561 while Bruce Car- rick led Little Joe's with a 555. The second place Dirk's Galley met up with a hot Cham- pion team and were defeated 5-2. Mike Ben - dig rolled a 310 single and Steve Johnston had a 705 triple to lead Champion to the win. Jerry Rivett was the high man for Dirk's with a 711 triple.
