The GDCI midget boys' basketball team
had a rather inauspicious debut for their
1983-84 season here Tuesday when they lost
78-20 to the Wingham Madill Mustangs. The
Mustangs were impressive with both their
size and quickness. With no junior team in
Wingham, the Mustangs are using several
second year midget players whereas the
Vikings are all grade nine boys who will take
some time to learn ..the game from their
coach, Lynn Myers.
