Sonny Moore led the Falcons with a 687 triple, follow r,i closely by wife Marj and Del 1VMtt- chehnore. Murray Connolly was the leader few the Pits with a 579 triple. This allowed the Falcons to pull within one ;+: r int in this closely fought league. The Park Theatre Mustangs flew into a tie with the pits by vir- tue of a seven point win over the Pin Busters. John Allen rolled a 249 single and 681 triple in the Mustangs' win and Steve Allen rolled a 646 for the Pin Busters. The Crazy Six took five points from M&P which plate them solidly in fourth place only seven points behind the leaders. Ken Brownlee rolled a 300 single and 786 triple followed by Brad Chase with a 700 triple for the Crazy Sian. Doug Vock rolled a 312 single and 653 triple for M&P. The Lowly Rollers and Kitchigami Road Runners had a 4 - 3 split this week. The Lowly Rollers carne out on top helped by a 620 triple from Diane Mit- chelmore. Bob Kelly was the high bowler for the Road Runners with a 595. The Knockouts helped their cause as they took seven from the Fizz Mitts. Jim Carrick rolled a 266 single and 617 triple for the Knockouts. He was evenly matched by Peter DeGroot for the Fizz Mitts as he had three solid 200 games. THURSDAY NIGHT MIXED The Hot Shots seem to have a lock on this league as they have had three straight seven point nights. This week they defeated the Wood Peckers behind a 313 single and 729 triple from Jack Gilbert, and a 348 single and 707 triple from Ebner Taylor. Don Poag led the Woodpeckers with a 481. Libby's Beans took five from Gummers Bummers as Lee Ryan came through with a 713 triple. Al Fisher was also hot for the Bummers as he rolled 700 on the nose. The Dizasters, who are a close second behind the Hot Shots, re- mained close with a seven point win over the Losers. Gerry Good led the Dizasters with a 593 triple. THURSDAY NIGHT MENS North End Marina have a commanding lead with 60 points in this league as they took another seven this week from Laird's. Clem Desjardins was the hot bowler for the Marina this week with a 700 triple. Lloyd Haskell led Laird's with a 659 triple. The Bombers took five points as they defeated the Spoilers. Walter Bell had a 323 single and 815 triple in the win. Bob Harris also had a respectable 626 for the Spoilers. Lakeport also came through with a big seven points as they overcame the Six Pack. John Duckwor- th, with a 710 and Gord Ferguson with•a 687, had the hot hands for Lakeport. Dick McLean and Kevin Rumig rolled 728 and 727 for the Six Pack. THURSDAY NIGHT LADIES Three teams are fighting for the top in this league with only a three point spread between them. The Flyers led it as they had a five point night against the Yo Yo's. Del Mitchelmore was the leader for the Flyers as she rolled a 666 triple. Debbie Clarence had a 582 for the Yo Yos. The Alley Cats and Wall Bangers are tied for second place only two points behind the leaders. The Wall Bangers emerged the winners with five points. Leone Thom had a 686 triple to lead the Wall Bangers. Pat Brown led the Alley Cats with a 594. The Night Hawks are not far behind as they had a five point night over the Pin Heads. Mary Lamb led the way for the Night Hawks with a 630 triple. Kathleen Bowen was the highest bowler for the Pin Heads with a 501.
