MONDAY NIGHT MEN'S
John's Jokers gained four points on the
leaders this week as they defeated the
AM&G team . Steve Allen came in and
rolled a 311 single and 751 triple in the win.
AM&G were led by Lee Ryan with a 658 tri-
ple. French and Cedar Lodge had a real
struggle as they split 16 - 14 for the night.
Dick McLean chipped in with a 730 triple for
French and was closely matched by Ken
Brownlee for Cedar Lodge with a 699. The
Tail Ends took 22 points as they overcame
Selinger Wood. Ray Swan had a 264 single,
and a 611 triple by Dennis Schmidt led the
Tail Ends. Little Bowl retained their lead as
they defeated the Poverty Pak 19 - 11.
Poverty Pak put up a real battle led by a 643
triple by Greg Little. Al Sanders led Little
Bowl with a 680 triple. Roy's Boys also had a
good night as they took 21 points from
Legion 109. Bob Graham rolled a 778 triple
for Boy's. Doug Zoethout helped to keep
them honest with a 612 triple.
MONDAY NIGHT LADIES
The Marionettes retained their lead as
they took five points from Joyce's Jets. Bet-
ty Fisher helped them along with a 587 tri-
ple. Joyce Hamilton for the Jets had a good
night with a 641 triple. Their closest com-
petitor, Trouble, also took five points as they
defeated Shirl's Girls. Ruth Ann Brennan
aided her Trouble team with a 215 single and
546 triple. Dorothy Bordeau and Shirley
Kennedy each had high 590's for the Girls.
Auleen's Angels took five points from the
Oldtimers behind a 473 triple by Marg
Miller. Melba Maillet led the Oldtimers with
a 563 triple. The Blazers were the winners of
five points. Jean Pinder, with a 567 triple led
them as they defeated the No Names. Jean
Mundle had a 613 for the No Names.
TUESDAY FARMERS LEAGUE
The league leading Orioles got another
seven points tonight as they blasted the
Goderich Lepperds. Bob Graham with a fine
765 and Doug Vock with a 684, powered them
to the win. The second place Goderich
Hustlers managed only two points as they
were out matched by the Country Pals. Bill
Fisher led the Pals with a 616 triple. Doug
Haskell had a 275 single for the Hustlers.
Goderich Kids and the Berzerko Buddies
rolled to a 4 - 3 split with the Buddies coming
out on top. Graham Hamilton had a 258
single for the Buddies and Dan Willis had a
229 single for the Kids. The Wood Butchers
took five points from the Nile team behind a
716 triple from Les Pitblado. Tim Gaudette
had a 263 single for Nile. John Treble had an
award winning 743 triple as his Timberjacks
won five points from the Goderich
Hayseeds. Jim Harrison led the Hayseeds
with a 652 triple.
TUESDAY NIGHT MIXED
The standings for this league tightened up
as the league leading Pin Pickers were
treated to a 5 - 2 loss by the Tricky Six. Dopa
Baker with a pair of 192's and Bruce Baker
with a 683 triple sparked the Six. Harvey
Culbert led the Pin Pickers with a 721 triple.
The second place Ernies Road House gained
three points on the leaders as they took five
points from the Pin Heads. Don Henry, with
a 280 single and Lee Littlechild with a 626 tri-
ple, spurred them on' to the win. Ross Millar
with a 683 triple and Peter Bergin with a 675
led the Pinheads. The Frame Ups, helped by
Richard 0 Hewell with a 655 triple took five
points from the Unpredictables. Art Young
for the Unpredicatables scored well with a
548 triple. The Dirty Half Dozen and the
Rookies fought to a 4-3 split. The Rookies
won, helped by Francis Merkley with a 295
single and 684 triple. Larry Million and
Joanne Ducharme with a 735 and 721 respec-
tively, led the Dirty Half Dozen. Barb's
Gang took five from Bell's Angels sparked
by a 689 triple from Barb Chapman. Walter
Bell had the high for the night for Bell's
Angels with a 674 triple. The Unknowns
blanked the Bowled Eagles 7 - 0 and gained
third place. Al Fisher with a 672 triple and
Darcy Doak with a 266 single, spurred on the
Unknowns. Diane Sutton led the Eagles with
a 706 triple.
LADIES WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON
The Happy Hippos with their third
straight seven ,point day, picked on the Alley
Cats, increasing their lead to 12 points.
Sheila Brownlee and Daisy Scott with a 663
and 652 -respectively, helped win the day.
Marian Millar rolled a 242. single for the
Alley Cats. Their closest competitor, the
Tigers were on the losing end of a 4 - 3 split
with the Ponies this week. Marion Hayes led
the Ponies with a 531 triple and Shirley
Schmidt led the Tigers with a 612. The
Eager Beavers took five points from the
Pussy Cats behind a team high of 595 from
Mary Lou Melick. Yvonne Dougherty led
the Pussy Cats with a 552 triple. The Runn-
ing Deers also won five points as they
defeated the Dainty Deers. Susan Hiusser
with a 246 single and Ev McInnis led the
Running Deers and Olive Gilbert led the
Dainty Deers with a 569. The Cuddley Bears
were on the winning end of a 4 - 3 split over
the Lions. Doreen Willis rolled a 214 single
and Dianne Leddy rolled a 558 triple for the
Bears. Marg Hornblower led the Lions with
a 512 triple. The Monkeys took five points as
they def6ated the River Rats. Gail McWhin-
ney led the Monkeys with a 572. Marion
Riley with a 186 single and Audrey Brindley
with a 649 triple led the Rats.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT MENS
The league leading Nimmrods took five
points from Alvins TV as Grant Langlois
came In ano rolled a b19 tor them. John
Miller led Alvins with a 703 triple. Behind
the Nimrnrods by just one point are Dirk's
Galley as they won seven points over
Culbert's Bakery. Robert Lee had a fine
night for Dirk's as he rolled a 669 triple.
Bruce Carrick led the Culbert's team with a
517. Champion was blanked 7 - 0 by Lakeport
Steel as Don Coulter rolled a 720 triple.
Dayle Wickie led the Champion team with a
618. Little Joe's and C.C.C.B. split 4 - 3 this
week. Duane Horton led Little Joe's with a
603 triple and Henry Kolkman had a 731 for
C.C.C.B.
