Petrie of 163 Quarterline Road, Tillsonburg, died in University Hospital, London on Tuesday, December 6 in her 73rd year. She was born in Huron County on Sep- tember 19, 1911 to Jacob and Louise (Selby) Reed. She was predeceased by her parents and four brothers. ROBERT TURNER A lifelong Huron County resident, Robert Borden Turner of Goderich died at Alexandra Marine and General Hogpital in Goderich on Nov. 28. He was in his 76th year. A Stanley Township native, Mr. Turner was born on Sept. 7,1908 to John Turner and the former Rebecca Sherratt. He was married in the 1930s to the former Isobel McWhinney and the couple and their family lived in the Auburn area for many years. Mr. Turner worked as a farmer, with Huron County and as caretaker of Ball's Cemetery before retiring to Goderich. Along with his wife Mr. Turner is survived by four children, Kenneth of Strathroy, Mrs. Leonard (Shirley))Aof Goderich andof y, Mrs. Barry Wayne (Lynn) of British Columbia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great gran- dchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters James Turner of Clinton, Mrs. Shirley Duckworth of Goderich, Mrs. Katherine Fowler of London, Mrs. Mary Griffiths of Niagara Falls and Mrs. Annie Allen of Seaforth. He was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at the Tasker Funeral Home in Blyth on Nov. 30 with Gary Shuttleworth officiating. Interment followed at Ball's Cemetery in Hullett Township.
