Cattlemen meet Huron -Middlesex MPP Jack Riddell at- tended the Huron Cattlemen directors' meeting held December 5 and gave a short brief on what the government was going to do for the farmer. ° Mr. Riddell also an- swered questions. Replies were received from a recent letter sent to Eugene Whalen regarding the stabilization plan. A motion was passed to send a letter to Dennis Timbrell requesting a subsidy payment for 1983 at a rate allowing Ontario farmers to compete with neighbouring provinces until the stabilization plan comes into effect. A resolution was accepted from the Concerned Farm Women group and a letter was sent to the Government of Ontario.
