Have: you ever met an Angel? Some young
people are startled right in the middle of
choir rehearsal by a missile which, they
come to find out, was launched by two of
these heavenly beings. It is possible!
Afterall, Angels are God's messengers.
They have been around since the beginn-
ing of time guarding the Garden of Eden,
helping Elijah announce the birth of Jesus,
marching in celestial bands on ethereal
shafts of starlight and now in this musical
bringing all of us a reassuring message.
Taking part were Daryl Hemingway,
Greg Lobb, Shannon Preszcator, Scott Koet-
sier, Bethany Bush, Wanda Abbott, Brian

Seniors meet
The Enterprising Seniors held their
Christmas meeting and pot luck luncheon.
Following the lunch a chart business
meeting was held. Many games were
played. We were sorry that Edward and
Blanche had to miss this lunch. We do wish
all the seniors a Very Merry Christmas and
' Happy New Year.
People
Jean Perdue and Irene Cudmore enjoyed
a bus trip to see the lights at Cullen Gardens
at Whitby.
Get well wishes to Jack Stirling who is a
patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London.
Blanche Deeves would like to say Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year in 1984
and thank you for your help to keep the
Holmesville News ill our papers. We will see
you all again in February.
Marie Flynn and her musicians entertain
HURONVIEW - Sunday morning worship
was held in the Huronview chapel, with Rev.
Pick conducting the service. There was a
good attendance. Elsie Henderson and Hugh
Lobb sang a duet accompanied by Margaret
McQueen. Hugh, in fine voice, then sang a
solo.
Marie Flynn and her group of musicians
were here on Nov. 27 to entertain the
residents. A fine program of old time music
was presented. From the response of the au-
dience, this group is a very popular one and
much enjoyed.
There was another. colorful Tupperware
display in the activity room on Nov. 28.
Many useful items were shown. This was a
splendid opportunity to shop early for
Christmas and get that special gift for so-
meone special.
A music appreciation session took place
on Nov. 29 and several residents attended
this program for an hours relaxation.
Mid -week Bible study under the direction
of Mrs. M. Prouty was held in the chapel on
Thursday afternoon. Father John Pluta con-
ducted Catholic Mass Friday morning.
Christmas is not too far away, since we
had one of the first festive programs of the
season Sunday afternoon. The Seaforth
Dashwood band under the leadership of Dr.
Toll and Harry Hoffman put on an excellent
concert of song and instrumental music.
The band played a medley of carols that
were very good and a joy to hear. We also
enjoyed the festive selections as sung by a
male quartet. One of the most popular
carols "Silent Night" was sung by Cathy
Henderson and was accompanied by Elsie
Henderson.
Carol Ann McQuaid, a very talented
young lady, played a fine number on the
violin accompanied at the piano by her
mother. Carol Ann then performed an ex-
cellent step dance routine. Elsie Henderson
thanked the entertainers for providing an
afternoon of song and music.
We extend a warm welcome to George
Mann of Hullett Township, Edgar Allen
from Seaforth and Mrs. Lenore Harrison of
Goderich who have come to reside at Huron -
view.
To the families of Georgina Ryan, William
Westlake and Louis Masnica we offer our
sincere sympathy. These residents of
Huronview died recently.

at making educated guesses.
