Being their first game, they Penaltieswere Hensel team. outplayed the by team as Hensall capitalized on sick of the seven penalties. Goal scorers for Goderich were Steve Tzloumis with two and assists going to Jason Jeffrey, Jeff Kent and Jason LeBear. The other goal was scored by Jason Cook , assisted by LeBear. On week later the Atom B's travelled to Zurich and made a strong showing, but a couple of bad breaks allowed the Zurich Warn to skate to a 5-2 win. Mark Kiaaahan and Corey Adams scored and assisted on each others goals with Jeff Kent getting a single assist. Zurich's Jason Shilbe scored four goals and Justin Scott scored the other. Chuck MacLennon played a super game in the net for Goderich and made several excellent saves. Bowling lead... • from page 6 A for the Road Runners. Park Theater Mustangs took all seven points over the Fizz Mitts. John Allen rolled a 648 for the Mustangs and Auleen Theriault had a 616 for the Mitts. The Falcons behind a 283 single and 774 triple from Sonny Moore were on the winning end of a 4-3 split this week over the Pin Busters. Steve Allen of the Pin Busters helped with his 675 triple. Cathy Connolly with a 276 single and 711 triple, led her league leading Pits to another five point win this week. Their opponents the Lowly Rollers were led by Reg Waterworth with a 589 triple. THURSDAY NIGHT MIXED There were three teams taking all the points this week. They were Glimmer's Bummers, Libby's Beans, and the Hot Shots. Al Fisher, with a 675 triple led his Bummers as they defeated the Losers. Gene Ryan came in and rolled a 618 for Libby's Beans as they defeated the Woodpeckers. Leone Thom, with a 661 triple spurred them on to the win over the Pin Heads. The Nighthawks, behind 'a 668 triple from Mary Lamb, defeated the -Yo- Yos 5-2. Shirley Erb on the Yo-Yos had a 651 triple. The Alley Cats and the Flyers also had a 5-2 decision. The Alley Cats took five helped by a 604 triple by June Horton, Marj Moore had a 255 single and 625 triple. THURSDAY NIGHT MENS Cashway, who lead the league with 40 points, took all seven points from the Bombers this week. Cashway had some good scores as Bob Desjardines rolled a 704 followed by dad with a 686 and Bill with a 683. Steve Allen also had a 714 triple for them. Heinz Sartori rolled a 354 single and 808 triple for the Bombers. The Spoilers took five from the Six Pack. Bob Harris led the Spoilers with a 635 triple while Kevin Rumig with a 773 and Dick McLean's 697 led the Six Pack. Advertising were also the winners of five points as they defeated Laird's Wagon. John Duckworth rolled a 310 single and 741 triple and Simon Langlois had a 291 single and 701 triple for lakeport while G. Hakkers rolled a 655 for Lairds. SUNDAY NIGHT FORESTERS The Mod Bowlers knocked the Mad Bowlers over with a 7-0 win to move within two points of the leaders Jack's Pak. Joan Burleighs 272 single and 598 triple were not enough to hold back Jack's Pak, as they took a 5-2 win over The Wild Cats. The Foot Pins moved into third with a 7-0 win over the Bob Cats. Sheila Sullens 221 andtilim Fishers 231 single and 604 triple, pushed the Foot Pins out of the Bob Cats reach. The Gutters Brian Johnston's 273 and 254 singles weren't quite enough as the Mising Pins team effort pull- ed a 4-3 win. 3-6-9 TOURNAMENT RESULTS The 3-6-9 Tournament allows each player a strike in the third, sixth and ninth frame of each game which makes for high scores. The tournament is mixed partners with a draw for pairs. It came down to the last of eight games to decide the winner. Sheila Brownlee and John Miller were tied with Janet and Kevin Rumig after seven games at 3,682. The eighth game saw Janet and Kevin clinch first with 4,199 total, but a last rally by Joan Eisenbach and Steve Allen of 618 was enough to seize second place after being behind over 150 pins going into the eighth. Sheila and John finished with a close third at 4,132. Fourth place went to Dianne Scott and Don Carrick at 4,051 followed by: fifth - Vi de Haas and Otto Hen-rnann 3,839; sixth - Janet Drier and Sonny Moore 3,836; seventh - Del Mitchelmore and RonKlages 3,639; eighth - Betty Bell and Myles Murdock 3,619. The winners of the 41 four games were Del Geddes and Rob Little with 2,186, as they led the pack of top teams by 200 pins. The third ended in a tie between Jack Gilbert and Don Carrick with 333, Don Bauer had a 340 in the fourth. Simon Langlois had a 338 in the fifth, Manfred Popernitsch a 296 in the sixth. Brad Chase came an strong to win 384 over Steve Allen's In the seventh. but Steve was persistent and son the eighth with 356.
